Long time not hearing about us, right? As many people around, we have slumbered through the winter, resting and saving energy for the upcoming and compelling spring you can already smell on the air. And now we are back again, teaming up with SODAS 2123 to present the second edition of Rasos Jumble Bazaar, as an informal celebration to welcome the advent of spring equinox.
We want to present this event as an opportunity to gather around the principles of zero-waste, reusing, recycling and collaboration, conceived as a platform to showcase different types of crafts, hand-made goods and second-hand objects from local and seasonal sources. Spring is the time for emergence and growth, so let’s meet together, build connections, and share sustainable products and practical knowledge. The aim of this proposal is to show that things can be done differently, and that all of us can contribute to build more conscious, sustainable and communal networks, where the value of the goods is determined by their origin and practices used to obtain them. In line with that, we will try to present a selected sample of close local producers of different kinds of hand-made goods and products, and giving a particular role for recycling, sharing and reusing. There will be second-hand books, audio-visual devices, music in different formats, clothes, accessories, dish wear, instruments, plants, seeds and much more. We will also invite local artists and artisans to bring their works and cooks and food enthusiasts to present their home-made delights. And we will offer a special menu during the event, to pleasure and stimulate your senses.
