Mykolas Valantinas is a multidisciplinary artist from Lithuania, based in Berlin and Vilnius, working in between photography, film and installation. With a background in philosophy his work often times turns the psychoanalytic inquiry on himself or societal mental states of being. Folk narratives and mythologies can be found in the work as well as a fusion of horror, documentary and fictional narratives are employed as modes of storytelling.

During the residency at SODAS 2123, Mykolas Valantinas will be working on the artworks that will be presented at Audra festival.
