The exhibition “Wind – Intertwined”, curated by Gabija Pernavaitė, a participant of SODAS 2123’s “Beginner Curators’ Platform”, will open on Friday, August 29, at 7 pm in the “Borgo” building (formerly the Vilnius College of Finance and Credit, Naugarduko St. 5, Vilnius). The exhibition features works by Lilija Mulevičiūtė Tomkienė and Kamilė Nemčauskaitė.

About the artists:
Lilija Mulevičiūtė Tomkienė is an actress, poet, and painter. She was born in 1939 in Šiauliai. In 1961, she graduated from the Faculty of Acting at the Lithuanian State Conservatory. She worked at Kaunas Drama Theatre, the Lithuanian Academic Drama Theatre in Vilnius, and “Vaidila” Theatre, creating nearly 100 memorable roles on stage, television, and radio. She is married to actor Vytautas Tomkus and lives in Vilnius.
Kamilė Nemčauskaitė is an artist, ceramist, and leatherworker. She was born in 1997 in Kaunas. She graduated from Kaunas Art Gymnasium in 2016 and from the J. Vienožinskis Faculty of Arts at Kaunas University of Applied Sciences in 2019. Among her notable works are the decorative mirror “Moonlight” and a glass piece dedicated to the Centenary of Lithuania. She has held two solo exhibitions at Kaunas Z. Kuzmickis Library-Museum: “Colors in Everyday Life” (2018) and “The Day Before Yesterday” (2024).
