We also invite you to a tour of open studios at 6 pm.

During OPEN SODAS  an exhibition titled ‘Respawn’ by Finnish artist Hanna Ijäs and Icelandic artist Bryndís Björnsdóttir (Dísa) will open at Atletika gallery (Vitebsko 21, Vilnius) on 27 October 2022, curated by Ignas Pavliukevičius and AI language model GPT3. This exhibition is the result of the two-month artist residency at the cultural centre SODAS 21232. On the opening night on 27 October, from 7 pm, artist Hanna Ijäs together with sound artists Edvinas Gruodis Siliūnas, Karolis Brežinskas and Kristupas Kmitas will present the performance ‘Lie Down Where You Want to Be Stepped On’.

Swallow project space will be open 6 pm – 9 pm with an exhibition “The Weather in Fred Sandback”, imagined by Martin Ebner, Audrius Pocius and Ariane Müller and featuring works, music, and gestures by Eric D. Clark, Michèle Graf & Selina Grüter, Laura Kaminskaitė, Sebastian Luetgert, Robertas Narkus, Eleni Poulou & Hilary Jeffery, Ulla Rossek, Julia Scher, Valerie Stahl von Stromberg, Hannah Weinberger, Martin Ebner, and Ariane Müller.

As part of the OPEN SODAS, SODAS 2123 invites you to visit a community wardrobe created by its resident Karolina Janulevičiūtė. During the event, SODAS 2123 residents and visitors will be able to meet and try on clothes created from August to October as well as to share their personal experiences on dressing themselves, wearing and sharing clothes as a means to carry conversations.
