On 2022 August 7th from 1 p.m. in the cultural centre SODAS 2123, at Spongė Lab, an analog photography workshop will be held with artist, photographer, electronic music producer Vytautas Juozėnas. Anyone and everyone interested are invited to register for the workshop.
The workshop is designed to get acquainted with analog photography, the relation between light and the materials sensitive to it, as well as laboratory equipment for developing and processing photographic materials. The aim of the workshop is about the fading knowledge of photographic technologies invented 150 years ago and maintaing it in our fast moving digital world .
Vytautas Juozėnas is an artist, photographer, electronic music producer. Juozėnas has graduated from the Vilnius Academy of Fine Arts with a bachelor’s and master’s degree in photography and media art, and continues to explore the world of analog photography and cinema. He is one of the founders of the experimental cinema laboratory “Sponge studio”. Cooperates with “Baltic Analog Lab” experimental film laboratory from Riga. Works in the cinema camera department. Creates short films for celluloid, that he also develops and projects.

The event will be held in Lithuanian and is free to attend.
This workshop is part of the “Educational Workshop Series Blossom” project organised by SODAS 2123.
