In June, the SODAS 2123 A-I-R Programme is collaborating with the Architektūros Fondas.
The residency, curated by Martynas Germanavičius, invites creators to explore various temporal regimes and their influence on the development of urban spaces.
The SODAS 2123 residency hosts the artistic duo gel office.
gel office is a collaborative artistic project by Paula Veidenbauma and Diāna Mikāne. Drawing on diverse strands of research, their practice often navigates the socio-political fictions and frictions embedded in contemporary life.
Paula Veidenbauma is a Vienna-based artist working across visual arts, architecture, and performance. Her work investigates real estate politics, speculative urbanism, the limits of flexibility, and projected (and projecting) dramaturgies.
Diāna Mikāne is an artist and curator whose practice is grounded in research and collaborative methodologies. Her work spans writing, project development, and performance, with a particular focus on the politics of waiting and spatial practices anchored in specific places.
This collaboration with the Architecture Foundation is part of the European architecture platform LINA, co-funded by the European Union.
SODAS 2123 is supported by the Lithuanian Council for Culture and Vilnius City Municipality.
