OVEN PAVILION 🥨 PIZZA AND PUMPKIN WORKSHOP

On Wednesday, 23 October at 5:30pm, THE OVEN PAVILION at the cultural complex SODAS 2123 invites everyone to a pizza and pumpkin workshop 🥨

The workshop welcomes adults and children to gather, bake pizzas in a wood-burning oven, and carve their own pumpkins

The event is initiated by friends Laura and Simona, who bonded over being neighbors, their shared interests, and their fascination with the changing seasons alongside their children. Led by a desire to share the joy of togetherness with others, they decided to take some time away from their work in HR management to organise various creative activities for families. Laura and Simona have been running the Supa Ūkas project for a year now, aiming to bring communities together, inspire them, promote sustainable ideas, and contribute to environmental preservation by leading by example.

Event programme:

🥨 5:30pm: Hot tea and gathering around the stove
🥨 6:00pm: Start of the pumpkin carving workshop and pizza making
🥨 7:30pm: Pumpkin lighting, chatting over hot tea, and pizza tasting

Please bring a pumpkin for the carving workshop!

The event is free of charge and open to all visitors.

The event is part of the Oven Pavilion’s public events programme, organised through an open call.

Oven Pavilion, Cultural Complex SODAS 2123, Vitebsko Str. 21, Vilnius

The Oven Pavilion is an interactive architectural sculpture, serving as a public space for community gatherings, education, events, and other activities. This work is a collaboration between interdisciplinary artist Kamilė Krasauskaitė and architects Ona Lozuraitytė and Petras Išora. The structure harmoniously combines the ideas of the three creators, functionality, and the surrounding environment – integrating the oven, the architects’ pavilion around it, and the space it occupies. This project, part of the Vilnius City Municipality’s Create Vilnius (Kuriu Vilnių) programme, reflects the needs of the local communities, creating a new focal point in the city that activates and enhances public space.
