On Sunday, 14 September, starting from noon, the OVEN PAVILION at the cultural centre SODAS 2123 invites everyone to a cosy APPLE JAM gathering, organised by the bookstore Juodas Šuo and artist Dega.Upė. The event will feature a pop-up store of culinary and other books, a creative workshop on binding your own recipe book, and an afternoon of apple pie baking in the oven, followed by a collective tasting session 
Let the smell of pies fill the air! 
Schedule:
12–6 pm – Juodas Šuo pop-up bookstore
12–4 pm – Bind Your Own Recipe Book workshop
2–8 pm – Community apple peeling, pie baking, and tasting
We also invite you to bring your own recipes to the bookbinding workshop.
The event is free of charge and open to all.

Juodas Šuo (Black Dog) is a traveling adventure bookstore that carefully curates books, taking great care not only of their content but also of their restoration. The Black Dog also wags its tail in the field of art – collaborating with cultural venues to organise events such as pop-up book days at the Estradà songhouse and book enthusiasts’ weekends at the Contemporary Art Center, while leading discussions on sustainability and consumerism, and taking part in various fairs.
Dega.Upė is an artist currently based in Vilnius. Holding a BA in Graphic Design (Illustration) and an MA in Sculpture, she organises creative workshops, has taken part in both group and solo exhibitions, and holds a cultural passport. Her work explores the mythological world of 21st-century fairies, she decorates the bookstore with her illustrations, and contributes to the organisation of events.

The Oven Pavilion is an interactive architectural sculpture that functions as a localised public space for community gatherings, education, cultural events, and more. The work is a collaboration between interdisciplinary artist Kamilė Krasauskaitė and architects Ona Lozuraitytė and Petras Išora. The structure brings together the ideas of all three creators, blending functionality with sensitivity to the surrounding environment. It unites the oven itself, the architectural pavilion built around it, and the shared space it generates – forming a dynamic and inviting social hub.
