The last ANIMATEST workshop of the year will take place on November 18, 2022, at 5 p.m., at the FAMM space, cultural centre SODAS 2123.
This workshop will explore Motion Capture and Virtual Reality technologies, as well as their history and applications. An opportunity will be given to try out virtual reality for yourself. During the session, two groups will test their creative abilities through various activities: by drawing in the virtual space and using Face Tracking technology.
The workshop will be led by Agnė Lukoševičiūtė, she will be assisted by Laura Vakarė Dubosaitė-Povilaitytė.
Agnė Lukoševičiūtė is a bachelor’s student of animation, living and studying in Vilnius. Her topics of interest include nature and environmental issues. Works primarily with 3D technologies and Unity game engine.
Laura Vakarė Dubosaitė Povilaitytė is an animator based in Vilnius. She is currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in animation at the Vilnius Academy of Arts. The topics she works with are related to human psychology, feelings and experiences. The artist is interested in and works with a variety of animation techniques, ranging from 2D, drawing to game development.
The last ANIMATEST animation workshop will also be attended by two of the founders of the FAMM space: Nidas Kaniušas and Dagnė Petkevičiūtė.
